Adelaide 500 Temporary Residential Parking Permit

The Adelaide 500 is Australia’s largest domestic ticketed motorsport event. This year's season finale, the Repco Supercars Championship, will take place from 14 to 17 November 2024.

With the event taking place on the streets of Adelaide, a number of parking changes will be in place to support the event and help manage traffic movement around the area during this time.

What changes will be made to on-street parking?

Parking areas that are normally used by residents for long-term parking will be changed to ensure residents are still able to park in close proximity to their properties during the event period.

Do I need to apply for a temporary residential parking permit?

Residents that live within the area impacted by Adelaide 500 parking changes (shown on the map below) will still be able to use their existing residential parking permits to access on-street parking during this period.

Other residents impacted by the Adelaide 500 parking changes, can apply for a temporary residential parking permit.

The temporary parking permits are for the duration of Adelaide 500 and will be issued to residents who live at a property full time and are unable to park their vehicles off street due to the temporary infrastructure and parking changes required to support the event.
