Pursuant to section 223 of the Local Government Act 1999 The City of Adelaide is conducting Public Consultation on a permit application for the 2025 Beach Volleyball World Championships Adelaide event which require a road closure that may significantly impede the passage of traffic:

Closure of portion of War Memorial Drive, between King William Street and entrance to Next Generation Gym; between 6:00 am on Thursday 13 November 2025 and 5:00 pm on Monday 24 November 2025.

The City of Adelaide is consulting on its Draft 2024/2025 – 2033/34 Long Term Financial Plan.

Pursuant to the provisions of section 122(1A) of the Local Government Act 1999, the City of Adelaide is required to conduct public consultation on its Draft 2024/2025 – 2033/34 Long Term Financial Plan before it can be formally adopted.

The City of Adelaide gives notice of its proposal to provide a draft of its Draft 2024/2025 – 2033/34 Long Term Financial Plan for the purposes of public consultation.

A copy of the Draft 2024/2025 – 2033/34 Long Term Financial Plan is available for inspection at the council’s principal office (25 Pirie Street Adelaide SA 5000) and at its libraries and community centres.

For further information in relation to the consultation process or to provide feedback you can visit ouradelaide.sa.gov.au, the City of Adelaide Customer Centre at 25 Pirie Street or one of the Libraries or Community Centres.

Consultation is open from Monday 30 September 2024.

The City of Adelaide (CoA) would like your feedback on an application for a City Works Permit from Synergy Construct Australia Pty Ltd for:
A single westbound lane closure of North Terrace between Victoria Street and Morphett Street from 7.00am Monday 28 October 2024 to 5.00pm Saturday 28 February 2026 to allow for a loading bay / compound area to facilitate the construction of a hotel building.

Consultation opens Friday 27 September 2024.

Between 3:00 pm and 11:15 pm on Thursday 10 October 2024, the following road will be closed:

• War Memorial Drive between Riverbank Footbridge and King William Road.

Between 9:00 pm and 11:15 pm on Thursday 10 October 2024,, the following roads will be closed:

• King William Street between Currie Street and North Terrace.
• King William Road between North Terrace and Pennington Terrace.
• Festival Drive between King William Road and a point 80 meters west.
• Sir Edwin Smith Avenue between Kermode Street and King William Road.
• Victoria Drive between Kintore Avenue and King William Road.
• War Memorial Drive between the Sir Edwin Smith Avenue intersection and a point 180 meters east.
• Pennington Terrace between Palmer Place and King William Road.

Between 9:20 pm and 11:15 pm on Thursday 10 October 2024, the following road will be closed:

• North Terrace between Victoria Street and King William Road.
