Park in the city on us this September!

As part of the Reignite Adelaide program, those visiting the city to shop, work, study or play during September can take advantage of free night and weekend parking.

Simply pre-book parking online from today in Council’s UParks and park between 6:00pm to midnight on weekdays or all day on Saturday and Sunday throughout the month to enjoy free parking.

Acting Lord Mayor Mary Couros said there was no better time to visit the city.

“September’s the time to enjoy some warmer weather and catch a show at the Festival Theatre or Her Majesty’s, eat at our great restaurants and pubs, shop in Rundle Mall and our mainstreets or watch finals football at Adelaide Oval,” said Mary.

“The offer will be available to book online today at the majority of Council’s UParks and will also be available automatically to UPark Plus customers.

“We were very keen to offer free parking as part of the Reignite Adelaide program along with a range of other incentives to help welcome people back to the city.

“FOMO Fridays are underway in September to encourage workers to return to the office, shop and experience the city. We’re delivering live music, fire pits, street closures and street parties in partnership with the State Government, Property Council, AEDA, local traders and building owners.

“Bloom Festival has also commenced and our Spring Weekends program runs throughout the month.September really is a fantastic time to enjoy the city.”
