The APY Gallery is a springboard for Aboriginal artists to get their work beyond remote communities and out into the world. The artists featured have quickly scooped up prestigious accolades, with eight of twenty being shortlisted for national art prizes. Pieces have been sold and exhibited in museums nationally and internationally.

The Adelaide iteration is the second of its kind from APY Art Centre Collective who initially started in Sydney. The collective counts over 500 artists among its posse, with 50 in Adelaide alone. It acts as a pivotal piece in empowering opportunities and successful careers in the arts.
