Justine Mules

Justine Mules (1994-), two time AFL Women’s Premiership Player for the Adelaide Football Club, started her career with the City of Adelaide as an apprentice and went on to win Apprentice of the Year in 2016.

She worked as a Mason in the Infrastructure Maintenance Team, became the City of Adelaide’s youngest Leading Hand in the construction gangs, and is now Projects Coordinator: Place for the Infrastructure Delivery team.

In 2016 Justine was recruited to the Adelaide Crows’ team of the Australian Football League Women’s (AFLW) in the 2016 NAB AFLW Draft, and played five games in the 2017 season, including the inaugural AFLW premiership triumph over the Brisbane Lions, a landmark occasion.

The resilient and tenacious midfielder was again on Adelaide’s premiership side when they defeated Carlton in the 2019 AFLW Grand Final. In April 2017 the AFLW Adelaide Crows team were awarded the Key to the City of Adelaide.
