Be Active
Being active and moving your body helps you stay fit and healthy, both mentally and physically.
There are so many ways that you can be active, it’s as easy as a walk in the park:
- Go outside and walk, run, or ride
- Explore dog friendly areas: Victoria Park, Historic Carriageway, Pityarilla Dog Park, Adelaide Himeji Garden and Historic Hutt Street and take your dog for a walk on the South East City Dog Walking Trail
- Practice some yoga or tai chi in the Park Lands
- Join the Adelaide Aquatic Centre or North Adelaide Golf Course to be active and meet people at the same time
- Take a quick walk after dinner or a longer walk on the weekend
- Enjoy the sunshine with your kids while they learn golf basics
- Challenge yourself, friends and workmates to the 10,000 Steps program
